Movie Maker Project

Here is the video I created for our Fit1012 Movie Maker Project. It features a few photos taken by both myself and my fiance Alan, as well as a musical track by the band Four Seasons covering a classical tune by Vivaldi.

3 Favorite Webistes

This post is all about three of my favorite websites that I check on a regularly and why.

One of my favorite websites is Facebook, but not because I want everyone in the world to know what I am up to. I check Facebook regularly, because I am 3,000 miles away from my entire family and friends. They want to know what I am up to so I continually post every couple of days. Mainly though I go on to see what they are up to.  My family is huge so it is just too many people to call daily so I like to see what they are up to online. Plus I get to know right away what they are up to. Then I use snail mail for longer explanations about what each of us has been up to!

A second website I check daily is the JWU email. I know that sounds boring, but I am always checkign to see if professors or someone from CHS emailed me. Plus, I use this email for Amazon so it comes in handed to check it!

Lastly, I like to check yahoo news daily. I don't have a TV and I don't get a paper delivered to the dorm so I just go to yahoo and see what is new. Then if I want any more information I can go to New York Times or another newspaper's website. Moreover, when I am on yahoo I can check my horoscope and my mail. The switch over and check my live and gmail accounts!

Thanks for reading!

Bio

Hey FIT 1012 Class,

Alright, lets get this first post on a role. My name is Kimberly Shreeve and I am nineteen years old. If things go as planned I will graduate in 2014 and be married that May to my fiancée Alan Carpenter. Obviously, I am a Johnson & Wales student and I am currently in my second year of study. My major is Engineering Design & Configuration Management. I just switched majors so I have to take some freshman course (like this one), but it is a good chance to get to know some more people. This fall I am taking 23 credits so I will be pretty busy this term, but that is how I like it.

At first glance I am really shy, but when you get to know me I open up a bit. This probably comes from growing up in a small city and then moving to an even smaller town. I originally hail from Livermore, CA, but three years ago my family moved to Discovery Bay, CA. Our home is near farms, ranches, and vineyards. You would think with two older siblings I would have learned to be outspoken, but that is not really me. I like the quiet indoors or walking the city with a friend. I really like Providence and hope to move permentantly to the east coast after graduation!

My hobbies include reading, writing, horses, and just being around my close friends.

If you want to know more just ask!!!!
